Short Bio

I was born & raised in Delhi, India. I have a masters degree in Art conservation & post graduate diploma in Commercial art. I currently work as a teaching artist at McConnell Art Center and as a teacher. I use the minimal yet powerful: intricate thin motifs & patterns. I strive to blend traditional techniques with contemporary expressions, weaving stories of heritage & culture into every intricate design. I am inspired by the color, nature & creativity of springtime.

Statement

My art serves as a celebration of craftsmanship & a homage to the rich artistic legacy. I do not limit myself to one medium, style or concept. Each piece I create is simultaneously an extension from the past, where I've come from and what I've learned, as well as a preview of the future, where I am going.
